The Old Siam Plaza

This place is silk heaven with many shops on the upper floors catering excellent events wear, particularly for women. The clothes are simply exquisite. There’s also a food mart and some jewellery stores. It’s not as busy as the larger malls but I like it for that reason.

The food market is underrated, there is great traditional thai desserts varierty with great quality! Maybe one of the best markets in Bangkok if you looking for this

As a foreigner this is a great place to eat a variety of snacks. Don't plan on doing any real shopping, though the pretty fabrics are fun to look at. Samples the desserts downstairs then go up to the third floor for a nice meal.
